Here are some things you can try if you're having trouble with your mobility scooter:
Check the battery:
If the scooter won't turn on, the battery might be flat. Make sure the battery is properly connected and charged. If the battery takes longer than usual to charge, doesn't recognize the charger, or doesn't hold a full charge, it might be defective or worn out.
Check the circuit breaker:
If the scooter keeps shutting off while you're riding, the circuit breaker might be tripped or a fuse might be blown. This can happen if you're riding on steep inclines or through mud. To reset the circuit breaker, find the button or switch, usually near the battery pack, press or flip it to the off position, wait a few seconds, and then turn it back on.
Check the freewheel lever:
Make sure the freewheel lever is in the drive position.
Check for misalignment:
If the scooter pulls to the left or right, it might be misaligned. This can happen over time, especially if you ride on rough surfaces.
Check the upholstery:
The upholstery on your scooter might be worn out.
Check the motor, connections, and control panel: Look for any visible issues.
Refer to the manual:
The scooter's manual might have specific troubleshooting tips.
